About Flower.com.au

What Flower.com.au is, where the data comes from, and how to contact us or update a listing.

Flower.com.au answers one question: which florists can deliver to a given Australian suburb on a given day, and what the delivered price is.

We are not a florist and we do not take payment. Every order is placed directly with the florist on their own website or by phone. We never add a markup.

Where the information comes from

Florist listings are compiled from public sources such as OpenStreetMap and florist directories, and from each florist's own website. Product names, prices and images are read from the florist's site and refreshed daily in launch markets. Delivery suburbs, fees and same-day cutoffs are read from the florist's delivery information pages where they are published. When something is not published we say so rather than guess; you will see "Check with florist" or "Not listed".

Our crawler

Our crawler identifies itself as FlowerComAuBot, respects robots.txt, and makes at most one request per second to any site. If you run a florist website and would prefer we did not read it, or want a listing corrected or removed, use the "Suggest a correction" link on the listing or email hello@flower.com.au.

Florists

If you own a florist that is listed, use "Claim your listing" on your page to confirm your details, set your delivery suburbs, fees and cutoffs, and upload your own photos. Claims are free.
